Buzzing coil?
I just did a tune-up on my 92 LB9, and while i was messing with the timing i noticed it seemed like my coil was buzzing/popping. Almost sounded like the injectors, but a little different, and definitely RPM dependent.
Otherwise it runs great/clean, no missing. Is this the first sign of my coil failing, or maybe it was my imagination / frustration of trying to get to thet hold down bolt on the distributor making me think i heard secondary voltage leaking.
...ed
btw, i want to meet the commie that decided to go with small cap distributors again on GM cars so i can kick his *** . I didn't need to be reminded that HEI hurts when i popped a plug wire off while setting the timing, large caps distributors at least have that nice wiring bulkhead to use.

- Definitely prototypes, high powered mutants of some kind. Too weird to live, too cool to die

Mine is very loud and annoying from the drivers seat, but I also, without thinking ahead, mounted it to the firewall.
