Barometric Pressure sensor (location??)
heya all, i've just retreived a code 32 off of my T/A..
it's guiding me to the Barometric Pressure sensor, with the limited time i had back at the shop, i couldn't find it anywhere!
i looked into the Mitchell Book for location and it tells me "Located on right side of the firewall in the engine compartment"
but while checking the right side of the firewall i couldn't find it at all.
is it near the engine itself or is it near the blower motor?? or where is it..
if anyone can help it would be totally appreciated.

Its also called the map sensor, im not sure what year your car is but on carb and TBI models its on the fire wall to the right of your ac/heat blower motor or just to the left of your distributor. You cant miss it, its got a vaccume line and a three wire connector going to it.On TPI models its on the side of the plenum (passenger side)toward the back. Hope this helps.

Actually, a barometric (baro) pressure sensor monitors the atmospheric pressure, while a MAP (or vacuum) sensor monitors manifold pressure. Are you sure that it's a TPI? Barometric pressure sensors weren't used on an '87 TPI setup - only in carbureted configurations.
