what is the ohms range of the fuel level sender? (E to F)

You are correct - good memory! 0 ohms at empty & 90 ohms at full are the values.

I had a 50/50 chance. GM only uses two different senders. 0-90 and 80-240. 80-240 is used on newer vehicles.
