LEDs tapped into injector wires to monitor fire rate?
This isn't exactly eprom but it has to do with GM ecm injector drivers. Is it possible to install 2 switching transistors inline of the TBI injector wires to monitor injector behavior from inside.
I was thinking about the transistors because I remember somebody telling me that the LEDs have a voltage drop. Anybody see any problems with my plans? Any recommendations for what kind of transistors would work best.

LED voltage drop is around 1.5 volts. Current draw is as high as 30mA. Use a dropping resistor. Wire resistor (I suggest 470 ohm) and LED in series and connect to wire leading to solenoid. LEDs will probably just flicker.
