Analysis Q/ EBL
I see for row 02 mv what appears to be a rising and falling of values. I presume this is the "swing" of the 02 over median. I dont see what it could be used for in analysis in CL? OL maybe would show approx A/F?
I am trying to correlate a lean condition witnessed on WB when tip in occurs(manual trans) or I hold throttle steady when the lean is witnessed and then seeing the lean condition persist. Engine does not die but seems to be unresponsive then it responds normally once further into slow accelleration.
My AE based RPM table is actually a plus 25% at 1000 rpms dropping to + 3% at 1600 rpms so I am adding AE in that area for TPS and MAP. TPS AE values are about half of MAP. I feel I have enough AE.
AE IAC is at 183 usec(FP is 20 lbs with 75 lbs inj). I believe this is throttle follower-AE. If not what is TF-AE called in EBLxdf?

The O2 value is in the analysis displays as it is important. Closed loop fueling is entirely dependent upon the NB O2 value.
The AE IAC value is used whenever the IAC is opening (retracting, more steps). With the TF function of the IAC this also adds to the regular AE fueling.

Yes I already reduced the coeficient to bring in AE sooner and last longer.
It seems to be a RPM based issue. Not a big issue mind you as if it occurs I just depress throttle more and in goes.
I upped the RPM AE table at 1000 10% 1200-1800 15% and 2000 10%. Now 15 % is not muxch since it is 15% of the % listed in that table. Drove car yesterday and today and it seems improved. I may add a bit more next week.
In analysis it shows the TPS% increasing and along with the MAP goes to 55-65 during event. With mani vac decreasing result is lean due to fuel in suspension drops out. May also be a product of 350cid with 7.4L TB. Venturi proportionally large to CID but not so once velocity increases(grams/sec) at 2000 rpms.

Ron,
You may also want to try raising the VE in the cells where you see it leaning out. As you know, the AE is based on that.

I am having the exact same problem with mine 383 First , 42lb inj.
Is the proper remedy to add Ve fueling in the problem area, or control it with AE fuel?

Thanks Dom.... I have done that previously. Recently I added even more. The resulting VE Learn was that it took out fuel in those rpm/map cells. I need to check what my OL threshold for MPH currently is. I believe I am OL when it occurred. If that is the case the VE-L will not change fuel on BLM annd it will help.
However the fix that I believe that worked was to add AE based on RPM multiplier.
No issues any longer.
