easy chip offset question for someone

after years i am ready to play with my car again.
i have a chip that runs ok but i have made changes and need to work on the tune some more. i forgot what my offsets are for my car.
my car is a 1992 firebird TPI which if i remember is a 32 K file size.
the chip that i need to download from is a 27C256
the chip i am going to start using again is a 27SF512

anyone know where the offsets are listed now or know them ????

Re: easy chip offset question for someone

not sure on the terminology of the burner you're using, but you'll want to read 0000-7FFF and program it from 8000-FFFF

Re: easy chip offset question for someone

i tried to read the 27C256 chip using those
values and got an error message :memory range and/or addressing outside selected eprom size

i used chip addressing start 008000 end 00FFFF
buffer addressing start 000000 end 007FFF

Re: easy chip offset question for someone

If you are using the Flash 'n' Burn or Turner Pro programs to interface with the BURN1 or BURN2, the offsets should be automatically set when you load the bin file.

Select the EEPROM first, the load the bin.

Re: easy chip offset question for someone

with thirdgen family help i am finally in control of my car again. thnxs to all .

most fuel trims are 124 > 136 at all part throttles so i have some fine tuning to do but part throttle drivability feels pretty decent. WOT is good until 5500 or so and then a little rich but it pulls from the converter lockup point till 6100 strong . i am having fun again ..........
