speedometer correction question

I'm trying to correct the speedometer with a $E6 setup (4l60e) with Tunerpro. I've changed the RPM/VSS Ratio, but it has no effect on the speedometer. This really has me stumped. I've read how to correct by physically modifying the VSSB, but I'm thinking I should be able to do it with programming. Am I wrong? Any help would be really appreciated.

The VSSB/DRAC feeds the speedometer, not the PCM.

Re: speedometer correction question

So re-jumpering the VSSB is the only way to correct the speedometer?
