JET chip type
Hi guys. I have a Stage 2 Jet chip model #18812-S for my 88 TPI auto. Just for kicks, I'd like to read it and save it to compare with the stock bin. I have two questions:
1. What chip type do I chose from the TunerPro RT menu? I chose 27C128 because all I can see under the sticker on the chip is a partial number that looks like D27128. However, this choice give me an ERROR: Memory range and/or address outside selected EPROM size.
2. I'm not sure how to create a blank bin file to save to after I read it with TunerPro RT.
Any ideas?

Re: JET chip type
27C128 is correct for a 86-89 MAF TPI car.
you don't need to create any blank files. assuming you're using a BURN2, when you press "save buffer to file" you'll be asked for a filename then and it will create the BIN.
