Getting started with Tunerpro R/t
Ok, a little confused here. I have a copy of Tunerpro r/t. I have an 8D.xdf file, an AUJP 8D.bin , a 1227730 8D.ads, a Super8Dm2.ecu file, a 1227730 8D.adx file. Which ones am supposed to be loading? and where? I think i am asking , am i supposed to use the ads file and the ecu file which i found on the tunerpro site? or use the AUJP bin file and the 1227730 adx file?

Re: Getting started with Tunerpro R/t
Here's how this works.
TunerPro V4
*.ecu file = Bin Editor definition
*.ads file = Datalogging definition
TunerPro V5
*.XDF file = Bin Editor definition
*.ADX file = Datalogging definition
*.Bin files are the "working" file for your engine controller (ECM)
This is a 1227730 ECM in your case.
The ECM uses a configuration of inputs/outputs as defined by the "Mask ID" of $8D
Any $8D software will "operate" without changing wires in your car (for the most part anyway)
Your bin file "AUJP" contains the variable settings you will edit to tune the engine.
The $8D definition (or other mask ID) has a defined datastream output from the ECM.
Using the *.ads or *.adx file, it translates or converts the hex characters to engineering units that you can understand.
So load bin editor definition.
Load a logging definition
Load up the bin to edit.
Make edits, save to chip, try it out.
Tweak the tune until finished
The V4 files can be "imported" to V5 but V5 files do not work in V4.

Re: Getting started with Tunerpro R/t
Is it possible to do any damage by me loading the bin file?

Re: Getting started with Tunerpro R/t
So basicaly i am turning on Tunerpro, then loading the *.XDF file = Bin Editor definition
*.ADX file = Datalogging definition right? then, create a log file? then press start data scan?
