Still Can't connect to Tunerpro RT v.5

Hi Guys I would really apreciate some help here

I have a 1990 Vette with a 1227730 ECM (5.7 6sp Man.) SD, The Memcal has ARFP on it

Using: Tunerpro RT v.5, Ostrich II, Burn 2, ALDU1

I got the ALDU1 last night and tried to scan today but DA would flash blue:connected then red:error. Any idea what is going on? Or a forum and post I can look for

I have loaded arfp8D_MS.bin. | 8D.xdf | A115.adx.
I went into Tools \ Preferences and tried switching the com ports but that did not work.

Cable not found or not functioning (tested at 8192 baud)

I tried searching but have not came up with a helpful post. If you can guide me to a post that would be great

I need a prom tuning for the complete IDIOT post.

Everything you need for Prom burning for beginers is in the stickys. Look at the stickys in the DIY Prom, TBI and ECM forums there's all the information you will need in them all.

Here's a link to TunerPro forum which may be what you need.

Re: Still Can't connect to Tunerpro RT v.5

Thank your for the reply.
I have a post on the Tunerpro forum also. Some how TP found the cable this morning. So I'm ready to try again today. I have read the stickies on TGO very very imformative and helpful. I think it might be information overload, I think I have it figured out then when I try I find out I don't. I'll keep reading and trying I'll get it some day.

Re: Still Can't connect to Tunerpro RT v.5

Lots of posts around concerning Vettes with chatter on the ALDL line that can FUBAR the comunications. That could be one problem with connecting properly.
Search for "silence" commands and you should find how to setup the command to make it work.

Re: Still Can't connect to Tunerpro RT v.5

Here's some info that should help.
The ScannerPro engine is what is now TP V5 so the theory should work.

Another about the Silence command.

Might help too.
