Just got a book of ebay from Snap On that has listings for chips with issues and the service bulletin number. Most with issues were replaced and have the same BCC but a different Prom ID number. One in particular seems to have the same issue year after year and is a 7.4L AZFT I used this for example because it is one I start with for BB conversions and have checked a few on the internet like at Moates site and sure enough they were the old Prom ID.

If you post up your year, engine size, Vin letter, BCC and I must have the Prom ID number to see if you have a recalled chip or the GM updated!
