NVSRAM upload error?

Just installed my nvsram module. I'm using rt4tool.tcl it will download the bin correctly. Every time I try to upload an updated bin it hangs at 4% the computer goes into limp mode and the upload aborts with "ALDL error".
I read 1 other post with a similar error :

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...-throttle.html

but according to this post despite the error his bin uploaded fine.

Any ideas or suggestions please.

Re: NVSRAM upload error?

Question: Did you assemble your own board? If so you need to clean the board with electric parts cleaner and a tooth brush very lightly to remove the extra flux left behind from soldering. If you didn't assemble then do it anyway. Craig from Moates.net told me to do that and I never had another issue. Because I was having the same issues you were having. Make sure the board is completely dry before installing.

Re: NVSRAM upload error?

I'll try that and post results. Thanks for the input.
