Glitches in datalog?
So I finally got my USB ALDL and burn2, went out and did a little datalog with the engine OFF for about 15 secs then a 8 min or so drive home. The .CSV files are attached in zip format if you want the whole enchilada. Also, the XDL is attached for run1 so you can play it back in tunerpro.
My problem is basically every few seconds the ECU (or at least the data I'm getting from the ECU) 'glitches' and reads false values for just a split second. I have things like engine running become false while the engine is still running, and certain codes being thrown for a split second then vanishing. Please refer to the datalog for details.
Also, sort of on a side note, why does my computer think it's in third and fourth gear always, simultaneously? (Manual tranny here)
If someone would be so kind as to show me how to post parts of the datalog (do I need to do it comma separated? .tsv?) Ill post up part of it so you don't have to download and open it in excel.
I'm sure I"ll have more threads up trying to figure things out for the first time, so if this or other topics has been posted elsewhere just link me to it and I'll shut up and try to learn from that. Please note I have thouroughly read through the tuning guide although its always possible I missed something.

Re: Glitches in datalog?
Of course, I should have searched on tunerpro's forums. Never thought to relate my issue to the software, thought it had something to do with my hardware. Thanks for the help, after adding a 20ms delay after send/receive the glitch is gone.
For anyone else having this issue of occasional "glitch" in data while datalogging with TP5, use the info in this link: http://forum.tunerpro.net/viewtopic.php?t=2215
However, my ECU still thinks it's always in third and fourth gear... wonder what that's all about.
