Ostrich 1.0?
Came across an ostrich 1.0 on craigslist for a decent price. Can anyone tell me the differences from this and the 2.0 model?
Will this work on my '88 Corvette?

Re: Ostrich 1.0?
For the purposes of emulation on an 88 TPI, there aren't any MAJOR differences. The software and hardware should be identically compatible (1 or 2) for use with TPRT or TunerCat.
On that note though, here's a few differences:
- Ostrich2 is smaller, uses Li battery instead of AAA.
- Ost2 uses FT232RL instead of FT232BM.
- Ost2 can do memory tracing (but you can do that anyways in TPRT with Ostrich1 if datalogging)
- Ost2 won't work with 24 pin applications directly, SocketBooster is needed.
- Ost2 uses CPLD for address muxing, Ost1 uses discrete logic.
- Jumpers on Ost2 are external via switches, internal on Ost1.
Same lifetime guarantee applies to an Ebay/Craigslist used Ostrich1 as it would a new Ostrich2.
