Wacky readings with WINALDL

The car is a 92 Camaro RS 305 TBI Automatic I'm using WINALDL with a USB cable on com port 2 1228746 ECM and 4800 Baud and metric selected. All others are Default settings.
To the best of my knowledge the car is completely original.
I'm getting some really weird readings on WINALDL.
O2 at cruise will go from .184 to .853.
Speed at an indicated 40 MPH was 66 MPH in WINALDL.
TPS jumps from 1.2 to 1.7 @ Idle when fully warm.
It never sets the closed loop flag.
I get an intermittent Rich flag.
coolant temp is 197 F. @ idle and in the 180's @ cruise when I looked.

1st tank of fuel was 13 MPG. Rebuilt the pressure reg and resealed the injectors. next 2 18 MPG last tank 16 MPG.
I have 1 Injector that has a bad spray pattern that I am going to change and the timing is slightly advanced. (can't find my timing light to set it.)
Am I looking at a possible bad ECM here? or could it be a bad setting in WINALDL.

Re: Wacky readings with WINALDL

Your not gonna believe this one. The car had set over last winter and this summer. During that time Mice had made a rather nice bi level home in the air cleaner snorkel!! Should explain everything but the speed issue. tried to data log but battery is dead on the laptop.
Any ideas on the speedo reading difference?

Nevermind, I answered my own question in my first post. DUHO

02 is normal. Speed is KILOs? TPs should hold steady maybe TPS is on way out. Turn eng off key on and ever so slowly move pedal and you should see nice smooth change in TPS. you could do same with jumper and volt meter at TPS/TBI. Not flipping to CL? Check coolant temp sensor and 02 sensor or just pull codes. Stop at auto parts store and they can do for you easily on codes. Check out FIC injectors for rebuilt exchange.

Re: Wacky readings with WINALDL

Ronny, Thaks for your input. Yeah, Speed was in Kilo's. DUH
Changed the O2 sensor and now I get the Closed Loop flag. There is still something wrong but I'll be damned if I can figure out what. My fuel mileage for this last tank was 11 MPG!! When data logging with winaldl I get an intermittent rich flag. Is this normal? Next step is to check the fuel pressure. I static set the timing, it was off by less than half a tooth. This is getting really frustrating.

A coolant temp sensor can tell the ECUcoolant temp is cold and it will enrichen. Check that. If it fails intemittantly it will fall out of CL during failure. Check your BLMs to see if they are minimum out(<115) or whatever you have for min BLM allowed. That means cannot pull fuel in CL.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of an intermittent coolant sensor failure. i ran it for a while tonight with the laptop hooked up to it and it seemed OK. I will check it more closely tomorrow.

I'm running a stock bin. I figured it would be better to make sure there are no problems and I had a good baseline before I jump in and start messing with stuff.
