Tunerpro v5 and ostrich 2.0?

Hey guys im new to tuning and just got my ostrich installed and using tuner pro v5.my issues is when i make any changes to the bin and try to save it i get an error of "could not save to log file" I find tuner por kinda hard to understand about what it is im looking at. im running aujp and $8d code.i got a bin thats very close to my setup which is a 350 tpi,a4,24/lbs injectors and full exhuast,no emissions or vats.my previous bin was for my 355 tpi that was heavily modded.the car with this new bin idles at 1500 no matter what temp but everything runs great.. i dont like the fans being on right away either and would like to tune that out but nothing seems to work.Should i first try resetting my iac on the current bin? or should i open the bin..make a few changes..save it.. then try to upload it to the ostrich and run the car? any insght would be greatly appreciated.how do you guys like tunercat as opposed to tunerpro rt?

after my first day ateemtping to tune i think i bit off more than i can chew :S here are my issues i cant seem to figure out.when i went from carb to tpi,the chip i got(thought was stock) worked great on my 355 cammed tpi.now the car is a stock 350 tpi and the motor runs lean according to my narrow band o2 gauge on my dash.ive dipped into tuning today now that i have a ostrich 2..tunerpro and also flash n burn 1.got all excited to make lil adjustments and get a lil extra power and efficient motor.downloaded stock bins and the $8d definition.the chip i was running has been modified physically with a second chip soldered above what i believe is the stock schip.i cant read this to give me a base bin to tune from i might have to desolder it to read the bin and then put it back with the g1.

the current bin that will let me run the car has tables soo erratic i cant seem to uunderstand how it even runs as good as it does but idles so high all the time.im starting to think i need a different definition to read this bin right.can someone pls verify this bin used a $8d code.no other aujp bins run on the car unless im not properly disabling vats egr and air pump correctly.I just need a running car again..kinda stuck here.

if this doesnt workout ill have to continue running the car the way it was and try to add more fuel with the afpr and hope that when i build my 383 hsr this tune will still run ok.
