EBL WB and port mod
I am finishing the rebuild on my firebird, which includes new SLP headers, vortec heads, ZZ4 cam, LC1 Wideband and ramjet manifold.
I plan to use the EBL which I will purchase shortly. Can I run EBL with the WB alone in the stock location, and no NB sensor? This would be the easiest.
Otherwise where would be the the best locations to mount the NB and WB sensors in the SLP headers.
I did many searches, but couldn't find a definitive answer.
Thanks,
Lou

The LC-1 has two outputs, one that is pre-programmed to simulate a NB O2 sensor, so you can replace the current NB O2 sensor with the LC-1, and use this NB O2 sim output to feed into the ECM.

Re: EBL WB and port mod
For locating a WB sensor it is best well down stream of the engine. There is a set of headers that have the O2 located in a single tube. While OK for a NB, it is a bad choice for a WB.
Try to have it mounted past the location where the two sides are Y'd together. And prior to the cat.
