What is the stock BPW for TPI
...Ok I am working on an Excell spread sheet, it works for TBI.
I want to add the caculations so that it works for TPI too.
A stock 350 TPI has 22# injectors x 8 at 43.5 psi so whats the BPW.
Here's what it looks like (I'm not posting it till it's right)

Re: What is the stock BPW for TPI
For TPI it depends upon the injector firing rate. If fired at the same rate as a TBI setup the formula is:
bpc = 365.375 * (VOL/RATE)
If the injectors are fired once per revolution (stock TPI rate) the formula is:
bpc = 730.75 * (VOL/RATE)
RBob.

So......a stock 350 tpi running 22#inj @ 43.5 psi would have a BPC of 24.26?
Is that good or is it off?

Re: What is the stock BPW for TPI
I'm getting 189 for the BPC.
189 = 730.75 * (0.7170625 / 2.77)
The rate is the injector flow in grams of fuel per second
The vol is the volume of 1 cylinder in liters
RBob.
