One more EBL question?

When tuning the EBL open loop with a WB will the EBL try to learn itself to a stoich value or to the "open loop- AFR vs RPM & vac" table? Is there a way to make it learn other than stoich?

Re: One more EBL question?

Also is there a way to input a analog signal directly (with a adapter maybe) into the EBL? I want to input the accelerometer signal from my LMA 3 for use in the data log file.

It learns to the commanded AFR. Which is mostly based on the 'open loop- AFR vs RPM & vac' and 'Open Loop - AFR Multiplier vs CTS' tables. The AFR vs CTS multiplier adjusting for coolant temerature.

When in PE mode the commanded AFR will be the richer of the two: either the result of the above tables, or the PE mode AFR table.

In highway mode the commanded AFR comes from the hiway AFR table.

Also note that the AFR is adjusted for after start enrichment. This is a short term event to help prevent stalling just after the engine is started.

Any 0 - 5 V signal can be connected to the ADC inputs. However, there is not yet a method in the WUD to convert and display these signals. Although many WB's are directly supported along with the 30 & 100 psi Autometer/Kalivco (fuel) pressure transducers.

I'm in the same boat as the one car has a 2-axis accelerometer on board. And no way to display the results. This is something that is definately on the 'to do' list.

In PE mode will the EBL "learn" or is it temporarily disabled? What about AE learn?
Keep us posted if there are software updates to make more use of the 0-5v inputs.
Thanks again.

When using the WB the VE Learn will work during PE. During AE (and other transitions) the VE Learn is suspended. Nothing to learn in the AE automatically.
