Warm spark bias??

Hey can someone answer this quick question for me??? ON the 7747 ecm is the warm spark bias subtracted from the main sa??? Meaning that it the warm spark bias is set to 9.84 the ecm will subtract that amount from the main sa table leaving me with less spark advance when warm?? This is what seems to be happening to me. Runs good when cold but seems to loose a little power when its warmed up. THanks for any help

Re: Warm spark bias??

Well it worked great. I finally can properly tune my SA tables. No wonder why my tables were up to 47 degrees and still no knock. I sure can get some knock now, be careful.

Re: Warm spark bias??

Cold bias is at 10 degrees, and coolant comp is stock for now. The thread I read says to add 10 to the whole coolant comp table due to the cold bias removing the 10. I did not want to do it until I verified that with somebody
more knowledgeable. Anyone.......?

Re: Warm spark bias??

IF ITS at 10 [cold bias] then you dont ADD THAT TOO TABLE, --The table should have 10 thru out it at oper temp only,

I just figured that out this weekend. I checked my timing with a light and it was off by 10. That is when I changed all my coolant comp
cells that were 20.4 to 10. Now I can really start playing with my timing properly.
Thanks once again to all great people who make up this site. I would never be able to figure out how tune my stuff without this site.
FWIW I just recieved my EFI Live FlashScan V2 to start on the newer stuff.
I am hoping to buy an 09 Camaro and want to be able to tune it too!
