analog output of lm-1

ive been logging my lm-1 wideband thru my autoprom with the apadc a/d hardware from moates with tunerpro rt. everything seems fine. logged a bunch without problems. but i just noticed that the wideband afr coming into tunerpro is roughly .4 -.7 lean compared to whats on the lm-1 display. ive checked the analog 2 ouput in the lm-1 and it seems ok. im using the 0volts =10afr, 5volts =20afr. the factor in my ads. file seems right per the instructions from moates site. im not sure what to check next. thanks

Re: analog output of lm-1

I believe there is info on this on LM-1 Innovate site. The issue is a good ground for LM1?

Re: analog output of lm-1

I have the same issue, the AFR in the datalog is slightly leaner then the display. Like said above, its probably a bias between the LM1's ground and the ECMs ground. Im lazy, and I pull ground through the cigarette lighter, which probably is slightly biased.

Re: analog output of lm-1

You could always tap into the ECM ground wire for the WB ground. That's what I did with my dual LC-1's.....

Re: analog output of lm-1

A dedicated ground between the ECM and the controller is teh best method as stated above.

The display is still accurate, just that there will be an offset in the reported AFR in the datalogs.
