Sporadic TunerPro RT - ALDL connection
I finally upgraded to the TunerPro RT from ECM852. Looks like TP is going to be really nice if I can get it to work.
I have the 165 ECM 6E memcal and AKM Max232 cable.
I can't seem to get my laptop to stay connected to the ECM. I tried for about an hour yesterday and got it to "connect" twice. Unfortunately it only stayed connected for about 10 seconds then disconnected.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm using the 165_6E ADS, 6E XDF, and I think ARAP bin. If for some strange reason I was using the APYP bin while TP thought I was using the ARAP bin, would that cause connectivity issues? If not, then I'm stumped.

I was originally trying to connect with the apyp bin. I figured out that I was actually running a modded arap bin (had forgotten) so I loaded my modded arap and found out that I no longer had connectivity issues. Coincedence? Not sure. I don't see why running the wrong bin would prevent me from getting a stable connection.
Guess I should've looked at my own sig. It even says arap
