Looking for more info on the 8192-baud data stream

I'm looking to learn a bit more about the way GM's 8192-baud data stream behaves. Is there an article that goes over the timings? I took a quick look through one of the hacks and couldn't find any memory locations for the start/stop bit times.

160-baud requires around 6250 microseconds to send a bit... so 8192 would be something like ~120 microseconds, right?

The 160 baud aldl is bit banged in software, were as the 8192 baud aldl serial is implemented in hardware. The hardware implementation is interrupt driven from what I can determine.
