Need help finding 305 7730 bin.

Anyone know of or where to get a good 305 t5 Bin, base or not. Motor is heavily modified with cam, headwork, ported intake/plenum etc....
If there is a good base out there someone else has that could ease my tuning time that would be great. If not a base bin is also helpful/ I guess I am a little confused when downloading bins what the name is?
I find AUJP's and
AXKW's
Would either of those work for me?
Is there a list somewhere that names all these Bins off and what they are from originally?
I am using TunerPro and am burning my own chips, have datalogging etc.... I was running Maf but ran into a ton of issues with packaging and the MAF sensor so I decided and have rewired for Speed density now.
Any help well Helps,
Thanks

you want an axxc or axxd bin, check the file archive on moates.net

I can't seem to get on the moates file download site. It keeps asking for a password, etc... Is there something I am missing>?
Also anywhere else have these bins?
Which is the "hotter" chip of the two so my tuning is a bit easier?

Nevermind checking the faq helps?

Are the AXXC and AXXD the only two? Is there a list of what each bin is from and what makes them unique?

If you have TunerCat, you can do a compare of the two and determine yourself which is better for you. But ultimately, it really doesn't matter as you will need to tweak the VE Tables & Spark Tables to what performs best for you...(plus possibly other tables to improve driveabilty).

My guess is gear ratios, but I cannot confirm this.

To access the complete library of bins go here:

ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/bin_lib/

You will find AXXD in the Main Directory while for AXXC you will need to look in the '7730/8D sub-directory.

Also, take a look as AXYC in the Main Directory as well. It is also one of was the most current (1992) bin for a 305 LB9 5-Speed car.

But I recommend getting TunerCat and do a comparison on all three and determine which is the one that best meets your needs for a "base" and then tune from there.

Good luck tuning.

If you can't get the download from DIY-EFI to work I have a copy of AXYC that I can email you. Just let me know.

I *heard* that the AXXC is for 1992 305 TPI T5 with 3.08 gears, and the AXXD is with 3.42 gears and dual cats, but I am not sure. I started with the AXXD.

I suspect you are correct that the differences between the three are the gear ratios. Unfortunately, my Caldata analyzer does not disclose the gear ratio for any of those bins (as it usually does).

Also, it may be a "California vs Federal vs Export" emissions, as that is not specified either for my Caldata analyzer, which it typically does as well. It could even be a combination of gear ratio & emission level.

From what I've seen, typically when the bin difference is for gear ratio, the Main Spark Table for higher numerical/lower gear ratios tend to have a quicker and/or steeper spark curve than the Main Spark Table for lower numerical/taller gear ratio.

I am running a 3.08 rear gear, but my car weighs 2500lbs or less so timing tables can be more aggressive than most. I also have very free flowing dual exhaust, heavily modded motor etc.. I have a few questions though if any can help me? Why do the VE tables seem backwards? I mean the more vacuum the more efficient according to these tables, is there an explanation that would help me understand this? Also for heavily cammed motors, are there power enrich tables that would be the best to alter?
Also on the VATS as long as there are none flagged then it should not limit starting right? I was tuning if the MAF stuff until now and have a few things I don't yet grasp on the speed density.

Of course there are Power Enrichment tables for both fuel and spark. Haven't you looked inside the eproms?

The VE Tables closely follow your Torque Curve because your max TQ is your max efficiency and where you will need max setting in the VE Table.

If you have TunerCat, you can see all this in a 3 Dimensional Graph and makes complete sense once you see it. I follow the 100 Kpa side and compare that to the TQ curve. Then as your Kpa drops, your VE will drop, and the curve starts to slide.

And I guess I didn
t pose the power enrich qustion correctly. I didn't really understand the values in those tables. I am using TnerproRt but have Tunercats on my other computer. If tunercats will be better to help me understand things then I will use it. Is there a sticky or FAQ i am missing that explains the $8d stuff in detail. ? I have read up a lot on the basics, but am still a little unfamiliar with what I am actually changing in each table. I guess I understand best when I know what I am actually changing.
Your explanation of the fuel curves helps a bit.
On enrich accel delta tables which are 8 that I am looking at
Pulse widt Mult vs delta map
TPS mult vs tps

0.16 50kpa
0.14
0.12
0.09
0.09
0.09 0kpa

I hate to seem so ignorant but I have a vast knowledge of engines and am just trying to figure this all out.
What is the multiplier doing? I assume it should be to lengthen the on time of the injectors by multiplying the pulse width?
Also why would these stock AXXC Tps table have a smaller number for a higher %of throtle? Should it not be more for a heavier thottle?
And I kinda get teh kpa thing being how it is.
Also why does the TPS table stop at 50%? Does it carry that value from 50 from 50-100% throttle? Kinda curios.
One other question, i have an AXXC bin with two identical upper VE tables except one goes to 6400. Do I put values in both, or should theer only be one there?
One is 1600rpm-5600
other is 1600-6400
Was confused by that too.
You guys have always been great I appreciate the help,
