nvsram module
hey guys, can anyone help me with the nvsram module, i've been reading up on it but can seem to get the info i need, what programs supports it?... is it like using tuner pro or tuner cat or do you have to download and upload .bins to another program?? if anyone can run me thru the software or help me it would be great

You take a bin file that you edit with tuner cat or tuner pro, and you use a GUI that I wrote to upload it to the ECM via the ALDL port. Instead of burning that bin into a chip, you upload it...
If in the future Mangus wants to add support to TunerPro R/T, then we would have the ability to tune real-time with the module. But for now, it's old school. No big deal really. I like to make small changes slowly and create a bunch of incremental bin's that I can revert back to if I choose.

i guess the emulation part of it is that you can upload the new bin while the car is running?... so simple....lol thanks alot for the reply.... i live in the east end of ottawa, small town called clarence

Yeah, I think I have one I can spare for you. I can also modify an ECM for you too (as-in graft the modification right onto an ECM's circuit board).

i have to order some parts from moates, it's probably easier to order everything at one.... i do like to do as much as i can on my own, it's just when it come to computer software and stuff like that, i'm a little behind...lol i tried to practice with tuner pro and i cant even get a bin to load up...lol let me know how much you want anyways...
