Knock retard, more than advance??
After using Craig's software I noticed that the computer was taking out about 20 to 30 degrees with a spike up to 100 degrees. Any ideas why this would happen? Is it possible to have a false knock that would mess with things that badly?

Sounds like the amount displayed is out. No way 100* of spark retard could be occuring (or even 20 - 30*) unless your spark advance was super high.
Might even be off by a factor of 10. 2-3* with spikes of 10* seems more reasonable.

Is there any way of checking this? It doen't happen all the time, just whenever it feels like it. I haven't found a pattern yet, so thats why I think it may be a false knock.
