Tunercat tdf editor?

I'm ordering my burning equipment and have decided to use the tunercat software. I just need the tuner program and the correct definition file, right? Or do I need the tdf editor also?

You'll only need the tuner and the TDF for your ecm type. The TDF editor lets you created your own TDF files.. so its not necassary.

I use TDF Editor ALL THE TIME. Though TunerCat is very progressive and constantly making changes, I do find it necessary to add certain constants and tables for my eprom burning which TunerCat has not yet defined.

Example, Tunercat does not have anything in the SD or MAF TDFs for modifying the "shift light" parameters. There just hasn't been enough "demand" for these parameters to be added by TunerCat. So if you want them, you need to do them yourself.

Also, you can modify the Temp Display from *C to *F if you prefer, though TunerCat is looking at offering those.

Glenn,
How do you figure out the locations and functions of the parameters that TunerCAT hasn't defined?
