VE tables

Ok ive burned a ton of chips and still cant get the BLM values right, 1st question, is there anything other than the VE table that contribute to the F/A ratios? 2nd question, what is the best way to tune the VE tables, i`ve read through a ton of old posts but i feel like im missing somthing, when i get the values close (BLM 119) the car runs worse than it did when it was running fat (BLM 90). Im running the speed density system on a 91 Z28 TPI, any help would be great thanks- TOT

1. What makes you sure it's a software problem as opposed to a hardware problem?

2. Seems to me there was a long piece written on tuning - try a search on "part throttle tuning" or something similar.
