LM1 Analog Output to EBL

Are 0 volts @ 7.4 AFR and 5 volts @ 22.1 the correct settings

Also, should the response speed be changed? Options are instant, 1/12, 1/6, and 1/3 seconds.

Thanks!

Program the output to 10-20 AFR from 0-5 volts (10:1 @ 0 V, and 20:1 @ 5 V). Then use the Innovate 0-5V WB selection (preferences menu).

For response try the 1/6 second. If too fast then drop it to 1/3 second. Instant is just too quick.

Thanks.

Under preferences, I only see DIY WB.

Down arrow on right of menu, a box drops down with up/down scroll arrows. Scroll to WB of choice, and click on it.

Same with the channel number.

Re: LM1 Analog Output to EBL

rbob, does these setting still apply? I just want to be sure, my lc-1 is axting up again, and i had to reset everything, so I forgot where things go.

Can you repeat the low down again, I know the factory setting aren't 10-20 afr @ 0-5volts, but that is what we are to make it?

Re: LM1 Analog Output to EBL

Still the same: set 0V for 10:1 AFR, and 5V for 20:1 AFR.

Then use the "Innovate (0-5V)" selection in the WUD.

Re: LM1 Analog Output to EBL

Thank you sir, I think these past few weeks I've been running with the factory settings in the wud, and tuning for them. Needless to say the tune for 12.8:1 wot before is now 10.x:1 wot now,

I'm an idiot, haha

Re: LM1/LC-1 grounds to EBL

So this thing (lc-1) is having fits, again, and I was going back over the wiring. Should I run all the grounds, other than the blue wire (heater ground) to the ground holes on the ebl? I was over @ hptuners and those guys are running the heater ground to the block, and the system and analog grounds to the PCM. Maybe I should have it the same way?

Thoughts?

How have other people run them?

Re: LM1/LC-1 grounds to EBL

I would wire it with the heater ground to the engine block. Then the analog ground to the EBL board. The system ground is up in the air as I'm not sure what area of the circuitry it is for. If low current then to the EBL is OK.

Re: LM1 Analog Output to EBL

I have the blue to the engine block, heater ground. I just made all the rest, 3 ground wires, analog, system, and the ground from the led, to the ebl ground lugs. I'll try that. I emailed innovate, gonna call them here in a few minutes. I'm VERY dissapointed with the reliability and the performace of this thing, considering it is my 3rd LC-1.

Sorry for the rant, I'm gonna try this on the way home from work and back to work again, and post my results tomorrow.
