SyTy $58 Help
I'm fairly new to the programming of chips etc. I have a re-pinned 730->749, with a chip a friend burnt 2 years ago. Just changed cams & compression and it runs pig rich now. I have a few started questions I hope someone can help me with. I've read, searched & searched & getting confused. Here it goes:
1) When I read the chip what size of file should I get 16k, or 32k?
2) Burning the chip, what should is the chip addressing, and buffer addressing valuse. (using moates F&B).
3) Just bought an LC-1 for tuning. Is there a preferred way to patch the bin? Or should I go to the $59 code on the Moetes site.
Any help would be great. Just trying to get my idle smoothed out & leaner, then start with the rest. Thanks

Stock/unmodified $58 will be 16k. $59 located on Moates site is 32k.
Seems the more travelled path is to use one of Dig's patches on the $58 code located here : New Page 1. The $59 at Moates site is also an option. Either method will function identically although the methods they use to get there are just a little different. If you do go with $59, remember it is set up to be 32k rather than the "stock" 16k. It also has a "fix" for the stock EGR code when installed on a V8 application. The details of all the changes are located in a text file along with the $59 .bin itself.
Sorry I can't help you with #2....... Good luck!!

Thanks for the feedback. It clears a few things up. I'll start a new bin and copy things over frommy existing one and see what happens. Thanks
