MOATES APU-1 AUTOPROM

HI, I was just currious if anyone in the North Georgia area has purchased one of theese units, and a good working knowledge of this unit. I have one and am struggleing with this thing. I have tried to watch the boards and learn from the threads and can not even get it to immulate. I guess im just getting really frustrated with it and really need some help. I learn alot easyer if I can see how things work than just trying to follow some instructions, I have a good knowledge about tuning and engine, but just getting it to that point is driving me crazzzzzy. If anyone could or would help me I would be greatful and would even compensate you for your time. Or if anyone knows a local shop in the area that is good at tuning with one of theese units, that information would be helpful also. THANKS for your help......

HI CRAIG, Thanks so much for your offer, I know you really stay buissey, and am very imbarraced that im having so much trouble with this unit, someone told me to find an 8 year old to help me.....LOL. I have been watching and trying to learn on this board by all that you and Mangus post, I was just maybe looking for a local guy that could maybe help me, but if you do have a little time to spend with me I would be greatly appreciative. If you dont mind I still have your number from when I ordered the APU1 from you and if it would be O.K. I would prefere to call you please. If that would be alright just shoot me a PM and let me know when is the best time and I would be more than glad to work on your schedule. Thanks so much.

Im sure its something simple like what im trying to do, and im sure you can get some help with it. My slack butt forgot that there is a special forum on Moats site that is dedicated to the APU1 and I lookd at it today and think its going to help me out a bunch. Heck im just trying to get mine to DATA LOG and its not the equipment its the operator im sure.......lol. But you also see how quick Craig chimed in and offerd to help. That the biggets reason that I chose his equipment and how everyone said he was so helpful. I spoke to him when I orderd it and he and his wife are very pleasant to speak with, so I have no doubts about me getting it working. I have the tuning thing down on mechanical tuning but am very limited on the electrionic stuff. If I can just figure out how to get this thing to link up I think I will be on my way. Hopefully very soon I can get with Craig....
