EPROM differences?
What's the difference between a 2732, 2732A, 2732B and 27C32? I think the "C" version is CMOS, but I'm not sure. I have no idea what differentiates the other three. Anybody know?

I think I found it with your hint of the programming voltage differences; I pulled up my PB10 software and found this:
Chip - Vpp
2732 - 25v
2732a - 21v
2732b - 12.5v
I assume they have the same pinouts as you said, just different Vpp programming voltages. They all have the same Vcc - 5v. The Vpp values were consistent across manufacturers, also.

When using an unknow, always start with the lower programming voltage.
Also, when reading a memcal if unknow try the larger sizes first. Might try that anyway so you can develope a feel for what misread proms look like. Gets easy to do but takes gettting used to.

I believe so. Like is mentioned above, no real differences other than programming voltage. However, you'll find the 2732A's in the best supply I think.
