Programming for performance vs economy
How would one go about doing this? I have a DFI setup that I think I've programmed well, but my mileage still sucks. Would one program lean for cruise and idle then rich for WOT? Just thought it'd be an interesting topic.

Yes. 14.7 - 15.0 for cruise ( could go higher buy WHY risk engine damage?) and richer for moderate/high load situations. OEM ecu's do this by running in closed-loop for most operation but going to open-loop at richer stated for moderate/heavy loads...

Properly tuned you can go leaner then 14.7. The 14.7 is an average, meaning about 50% the oem range is leaner then that.
Properly tuned you will have a economy race chip. Only exception is if you change fuels for racing. I can run at 15.3 just fine thank you. Will be looking to lean that down more in the futrue
