1227730 $8D Bins
Does anyone have any 1227730 $8D Bins? I am working on a collection. I am reviewing what kinds things people are trying. I have a older model 350 with '78 heads (I think 76cc) '86 Tuned Port injection system converted to '90 speed density system. The motor has been punched out .030. It has a old model 327 350hp. Grind specs are Int 222 Exh 222 @.050 Duration Int 291 Exh 291 advertized Duration
Int.447 Exh .447 Gross lift
and a 114 Degree Lobe center.I am running a old turbo 350 trans. The car that I am putting it in only weighs 1900 # What kind of things do I need to be changing? Half the people I have talked to say that I will have a Vacuum problem using the map system with the cam I have. Will I? Need some advice and info.

The biggest things that you will have to change will be the VE table in the area that your car idles in order to achieve BLMs of 128. Do you have a scan tool? What are your BLMs at idle and driving around town? Record your BLMs and then adjust the appropriate areas of the VE tables (raise the VE for BLMs higher than 128 and lower the VE for BLMs lower than 128).
You'll also want to change the cylinder size since you have a 327. Those are the two biggest things ... however you'll need to tweak several other things. The biggest 'other thing' is the spark table.
Again, do you have a scan tool?

Best Time = 12.587 @ 107.97mph (1.710 60ftr) on the long runner setup.
All Natural. No Force. No Drugs. Stock Bottom End. Stock Body Panels. Stock Wheels. No Weight Reduction.
Gunning for NA 11's with the MiniRam II and Hooker LT Headers.

I have one I downloaded off the internet called Aldl test. I am working on a cable, just waiting on some parts to arrive. The engine is a 350 with a factory grind
327cid/350hp camshaft. Which do you think is the best software to edit my Bin file? I have Winbin and a demo copy of tuner cat & Gmepro. All three look like they are good programs. Winbin looks like it is missing some files (The files that had not been hacked) Tuner cat looks very well but I figured up the cost and it is a little pricey. Gmepro looks good to and very easy to understand. I have another one called promedit I can not figue it out at all. I don't have a lot of money to spend on software, but I want to get best software for the buck. Editing bins is a little new to me and a harder than writing ladder logic, I write and modfiy ladder programs just about every day. Is there any shareware out there that you would suggest for a diagnostic tool?

Sorry Dean ... didn't catch it until now. I addressed the question in the new post that you submitted.
