RCR,

I looked at your calibration map ... heh heh, what I could make out of it. Could you post this in some sort of table? Or, maybe take a screen shot?

i will post the calmap software soon.
that way you can use the software to read the tables.
Ill post my table at the same time and maybe a list of key engine components to show a reason for everything.

Yeah, I know. Unless you have the calmap software, it's pretty much gibberish. Screenshots would work, but there are a lot of them. I need to figure out a better way to show them.
Alpine, is that the same Alpine from Mich? And if so, weren't you 455?

I'm moving the maps to a new thread. We can answer posting questions here.

Heres a link to my CalMap tables.
I added in the zip file ALL the info about my motor, that way you can see the reasons for some of the numbers, and also will give others a starting point if their motor is similar to mine.

Hey RCR
If you can get alot of people to send in their DFI tables, I will store them or some of them on my web page.

Also would be nice if anyone who is sending their tables in would include as much information about thier motor as possible to give others a reference point.

Hell, ill start a web page for DFI / efi maps if there is enough interest.

You can email me at

Alpine, good to see you again. I wish more people would post their info, even if they email it to either of us. I understand it's a lot of work to program these things, but I can't see why it's so gaurded. We're just trying to help each other out. Just looking at yours has given me some insite on things to try. Your welcome to post mine on your site if you wish.

later,
Bob

RCR....how did you get that screen shot?? I will post my fuel and ignition maps if I can figure out how to get the picture.
I think it would be a great help if some one were to collect a bunch of maps, along with engine descriptions for other people to start out with. I know it would have helped me a bunch

I used the "print screen" key to copy the image, then pasted it as "new image" in Paint Shop. It was the only way I had to do it. There is a program called Screen Shot that will allow you to do screen captures, but I didn't have it at home. I think it could be a big help also. I couldn't believe the differences between mine and Alpines.

take it easy...
