Tunerpro R/T - won't connect with aldl

Is there something really obvious I'm missing with getting Tunerpro R/T to data log aldl over a USB convertor? My setup works with my own software (for uploading and downloading bins over the aldl port), but I can't get the aldl logging to work in tuner pro...

I can see the lights flashing on the convertor when there is tx/rx data. Is there a way to debug this easier on my end? Such as viewing the raw packet recieved?

I was wondering too. My USB to RS-232 converter works fine with TP4.13 connected to my homebuilt emulator and the xtronics emulator at the same time I have my true RS-232 port connected to the ALDL cable. It all works fine.

If I swap the USB converter to the ALDL cable and true RS-232 connector to the emulator, then only the emulator will work. The ALDL cable will not work with the USB converter. Anyway, same problem that MonteCarSlow has.
