Autoprom datalogging problems.

I am trying to datalog my friends 87 GTA. I just bought the autoprom, gp1, and the lc-1.

His car, being an 87 has the #32b mask 165 ecm.
I loaded the autoprom with the $6e ARAP bin, and the car runs off the emulated bin, i checked this by disbabling and enabling vats. So the emulation part works.

However, now i am trying to datalog using TunerPro RT. I have the Autoprom hooked up to my computer via USB, the same as it is when i am emulating. However, tunerpro will not connect to the ecm using the $6e.ads, it will connect using the 160baud, but no data shows up, just all zeros on the tunerpro rt dash.

What could be wrong? Wrong comport? but yet the emulator works. Do i have to change something in tunerpro's settings?

Do you have your vertical switch in the 'up' position? If your horizontal switch is positioned toward the USB plug (in), do you have AutoProm selected in TunerPro RT as the datalogging option instead of MAX232?

I just checked, i had the max232 selected, i will select the autoprom as the interface, hopefully that fixes the problem. Also, where do i want the vertical switch?
