Ouestion about S_AUJP_v3 and scan tool
Trying to use scan tool to read data on OTC 4000 enhanced
Using Tuner pro RT
S_AUJP_v3.bin trying Super_8dm2.ecu no luck
1227730_8d.ecu no luck
Have put in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992
Vin8 =8
vin4 =F
tried Standard adapter and TBI adapter
Works fine with 1227730_8d.ecu
and standard AUJP.bin
Please any advice!

From AUJP:
S_AUJP has different values here.
IIRC this can cause problems with scanners
Don't change the checksum.....
I don't recall Tim doing anything to the data stream.
Code:
L8000: .byte 0x02,0x3B ;EPROM ID, ; DRef: 0xECDC L8002: .byte 0x0B,0x4A ;DATE CODE, ; DRef: 0xECE1 L8004: .byte 0x05,0x70 ;SEQ NUM, ; DRef: 0xECE6 L8006: .byte 0xDA,0x39 ;CHECK SUM, ; DRef: 0xEC9A L8008: .byte 0x8D ;ECM ID BYTE, ; DRef: 0xB071

Ok, in english what does this mean. How do I "don't change the check sum". and what do I do with the 3 Id.
Again, Is there a setting that I can use or something to change to make it read. If not then I guess I will have to read up on how to use the aldl with my romulator using TunerPro RT. If thats possible.
I do like the features you have put in the S_AUJP_v3, Much better than stock.
With out the feed back I'm stuck with my air/fuel Ratio guage and seat of pants.
Thanks for any Ideas you have!

Change them back to stock AUJP values.
Save the bin and TP will automatically calc the checksum for you.

Thanks
I'll try to do this with my little pee brain, (this weekend) and see if it works.
I haven't had this much fun since I shoved the screw-driver in my hand!
In the mean time I should learn how to use the ALDL in TunerPro RT. Still haven't figured that little critter out! Some of this stuff can really make me feel dumb. Been reading and trying for almost a year, but I am making good progress!
Thanks Again
