What wire goes where?
Ok, getting ready to run a 16197427 ecm to control an 80e running $31 code. We have made now an XDF and ADS file so that is 95% done.
Working on which wires I need to tap into the stock ecm (749) to the 7427.
I am 99% sure it needs a spark signal, in order to sense rpm.
It seems GM has decided to name a few things differently though.
Here are the two ecm wiring diagrams for the distrubtor.

What I am wondering is the F11 pin on 7427 is labeled IC Signal.
Is this the tach input in? and which one does it tap into on the syty?

DRAC is no problem as we have those stock already on our app.
There are two wires I was assuming went to same drac output.
16197427 ECM Inputs
F12 Transmission output speed VSS
F13 Vehicle Speed Signal VSS
I have getting a signal from C6 Pin on the DRAC.
Look right?

Sorry, I was wrong. After looking at my notes, the RPM signal is required. Splice the ppl/wht wire from pin D8 of the '749 and connect it to A4 of the '7427. Splice the red/blk wire from pin D9 of the '749 to pin A5 of the '7427. This will take care of the RPM input. As for the DRAC, connect C11 from the DRAC to pin F13 of the '7427 and connect pin C13 of the DRAC to pin F12 of the '7427. See pic.
