Datamaster Question

Is there a way to connect and just get the aldl data without recording?

I dont need it for recording when I'm emulating..

Was out for about an hr or so with it and always had to "record" to start the process?

Am I missing somethign or is that how it is?

There's "monitor" button that does just that.

Should be right there next to start and stop

edit: mine shows 3.4.1 downloaded.
This might be the "beta" version.
The beta has a nicer histogram, haven't had any bugs with it.
Still saving my 20 free logs.

Hmm interesting.....

Is this the downloaded free version correct?

Has 20records before u have to register, but you can do it live playbakc for free? logging wise?

I dont have box like you do? What file was it under or not under any at all?

Interesting

I have the reg version and just went and dowloaded the beta also?

Have reverse/forward and start/stop and a fast/slow bar though?

Can u send your original zip file of it to me(via email) maybe it no longer is given freely?

thanks

Yep, you have to be in the actual recording box.
you're looking at the playback controls.

Ok :-)

I have a question to add to the orignal question.

How come no matter what I do I always end up "burning" one of the RECORD sessions?

I go to file I go to record and hit enter, as soon as I do this it uses another record session.

Am I missing something completely idiotic again or have the changed the version somehow?

I found the "record option on" and "autorecord on" but I am unable to uncheck the flag for "record option on" and everytime I try, I just cant monitor but it also uses a "record"

I believe the count increments each time the "record" dialog is opened.

Thats exactly what I am getting JP.

But how is it people are "saving" their record logs then?

I cant make it just "monitor" without also eating another "record".

Down to 9-10 now and counting lol

Different versions or are they doing something different than I am?

edit: How do I "monitor" without using up a recording?

I don't think you can monitor with out going threw the record box. I think this is there way of getting you to purchase the product. You will use up about 10 axcidentel, then the next 10 gets you hooked on the product wanting you to purchase it. Good stragedy on there behalf. I don't use data master because of usb problems, but I will tell you there is a way to get 20 more sesions as I axcendently stubled across it - believe me it is invloved and I don"t want to say how to do this here for they have a right to make there money, but it is possible since I seen my records go from 13 back up to 20.
