Dataloggin a 1227747

My co-worker has a 88' Blazer im wanting to help him with. It has a new 350 Votec headed motor with an edelbrock intake and holly 670 TBI.

It seems to be running pretty rich and fouling plugs.

I have my datalogger setup for 8192baud.

Do i need to remove the 10k resistor?
Can i log it with Tunerpro? ECM852? WinALDL?
Does anyone have the pin outs for that ecm?
Anyone a datastream for that ecm?

I cant find one at mark mansur or maotes.net/fileman.

Thanks

I am datalogging a 1228747 using the 1227747 settings in WinALDL.

Works just fine.

no resistors, 2 transistor interface.

I see your in Memphis. I am right up the road in Dyersburg.

That Holley 670 with a stock chip is causing most of the problems. The chip is still programed for the stock injectors and the Delphi injectors in the Holley flow a LOT more fuel per pulse. I had the same problems after I put a 670 on my stock '88 Blazer. You will need to shorten the base pulse width and lean out the entire fuel curve.

Btw the 1227747 settings in WinALDL work fine for me too. The cable is a bit of a pita to make if you are not familar with electronics, but there are several places out there where you can aquire one.

I have my datalogger setup for 8192baud.
Im running my own cable.

Its not a stock motor. Its a Vortec 350 with an edelbrock intake, comp ??? cam with a 480" single pattern and a MSD ignition. The chip is from Hypertech and it sucks anyways.

Does anyone know the pinout for the 7747' in a big blazer?

Are yall using the 160 baud rate or the 8192 baud rate?

The 747 only data logs in 160 baud. No way around it. Your cable should work, but you don't need the 10k resistor. Just set winaldl to 747 and have fun. Also you need to hook up you wires differently than a TPI vehicle. The ground goes to the upper right hand corner, and the signal goes to the 2nd or 3rd one from the left on the top row.
