What I would like to do (someday) is to just add the bootloader to a single blank chip. That would be cool IF it works. The link you posted does mention the adress lines was unscrambled. My raw dumps should have the addresses scrambled up, whatever that means.

It works great! The cable must be good..... I'm going to chalk up the programming failures to low battery voltage. It was actually fun to solder the sockets in. Thanks to everyone that helped!
