WinALDL not populating?
If I change the table settings to 'Wideband Average' I can populate the O2 tables, but the BLM and INT tables never show anything - this after a full 30 minutes of running.
Now,
1) I've got a 180 thermo in the 3.1, and my 'warm up' procedure, is to let the car idle until WinALDL shows 200º then I flip on the fans. Depending on what I'm doing, I usually have the fans running most of the time. This keeps my temps (according to WinALDL) around 177ºish. Is it possible to go into closed loop, and fall back to open loop if the temps get too cold?
2) The BLMs from WinALDL are very strange. BLM under 'Sensor Data' just seems to count up to 255 (in varying increments) and then resets back to 0, and starts counting up again - for example
63-72-91-114-146-176-195-210-234-13-43-71-etc
Now, if I look under the Raw Data, I seem to be actually getting meaningful numbers - such as a steady 63 at idle. I'm unaware that there are any conversions done to the BLMs in WinALDL?

If you are using a laptop, plug it in to 110V (don't use the battery) and see if the fields populate. Low voltage (under 12) will cause winaldl tp display only partial data and your laptop battery may not be able to supply a full 12V.

The laptop is hooked up to an invertor, and the ALDL cables gets it's 12V from the car, not the serial port.

Which means the next question will be -
What (basic) things must be met for closed loop? I was under the impression it was pretty much just temp - around 173º
