8746 bpw conversion from ALDL

to help me troubleshoot this cold start idle hunt (as well as wot dc) I output sync bpw ($AA msb -- as i understand it the lsb is not that helpful at such a slow rate) to winALDL in place of promid.

my question is how do I interpret this data ? there are many posts which detail how/when an injector goes static, and typical duty cycles, but they are all in terms of millisecs or usecs -- but how do I get there from here ?
-and am I converting the values in the sensor field or raw ?
TIA

are these are uncharted waters (I highly doubt) ? does no one have info on pulse width conversions from ALDL to milli or microsecs ?

I am sure someone here is more experienced than I am at this, but for the ECU file I made for my 1228747, it worked out like this.

for readings in microseconds (uSec), multiply by 15.25
for readings in milliseconds (mSec), multiply by .01525

My ecm had a max of around 12 mSec, and min of like 1403 uSecs, numbers may be off some, but it was listed that way in the hack.

Hope this helps somewhat. You will have to take the raw value, and multiply that, use WinALDL's logging function, if thats what your using. Your probably just interested in if it is maxing out or not. Probably easier to have it xmit both msb and lsb, and that way the conversion from the prom ID log entry might be easier.

It might be different for your ecm, GM tended to mix things up abit. But its somewhere to start.
