Bin Stacker Layouts

Guys:

I'm running the 165 ECM on an 89 GTA with 350ci auto with 3.27 gears, data logging with WinALDL and trying to modify the bin using TunerPro Free.

I am trying to burn to a 27SF512 chip.

My question is how do I work/use the bin stacking? It is asking for the bin stacking layout? Where do I find this?

Once I have this, and have stacked the bin, and saved it, do I simply burn it using PP2 software?

Many thanks for all your help.

In your case, you'd use the bin stacker to place the bin in the appropriate place in a 64k file (since a 27SF512 is 64 kilobytes).

To do this, set the chip size to 64k, the bin size to 16k (which is the size of the $6E bin), and switch block size to 64k.

Browse to your bin for the input, and select a file to output the final 64k file to, and finally select "stack".

Once thats done, use your PP2 software to burn the 64k file onto the 64k 27SF512.

Hope that helps!

Many thanks Mangus, I'll try that out when I get home from work tomorrow! I'll let you know how I get on.
