Need help filling out form for custom chip
hi
Im in the process of filling out a form for a custom chip by fastchip.com and i need a little help on a couple things...
first, what does FMU mean?
and second, where do i find the four letter prom code.... do i have to go into the ecm, or is there somewhere else to find it?
thanks, nick

FMU means "fuel management unit". You run a FMU if you have a supercharger to increase the amount of fuel during boost. This is a bandade, the more correct way is to run an ECU designed for boost.
The 4 letter BCC code is directly on the chip itself. Yes, you have to remove the cover to get to the chip. Look under the blue cover and you will see a silver sticker directly on the chip with the BCC code.
