Mmmmmm... New Toy.. *drooool*

Okay, I finally broke down and bought a daily driver/beater. '93 Chevy Blazer 2 door, 4wd, 350. Of course, I yanked the glove compartment liner and checked out the ECM as soon as I got it home.

16168625 - so what do I read this with? I see Ludis has it listed in his P4 list, but no EPROM size - and no binaries. (I'll be glad to be the first to donate!) Tunercat has it listed also, which is good. But still, no EPROM size.

I'm a P4 newbie here.. I'm used to WinALDL on a C3 ECM!

New test mule for the Prominator, too..

uhm... if it's got a memcal, you rig an adapter to stick it in a programmer and read it ... craig made mine..

if it's just an eprom, you remove the plastic housing and stick it in a programmer and read it...

if you are talking about the aldl stream, any tool which supports it ... diacom i know would. probably others too. it's certainly not going to be as common as, say, $32/$32b on a '165 or $8d on '730 ..

Actually I know how to read the memcal; it's just a matter of getting/making the adapter.

I'm talking about how to read the datastream; Bruce was kind enough to clue me in that TunerPro also reads datastreams, so I'll probably be using that. Gotta make an interface for it now!
