Sample VE Tables

Could some people post thier VE tables either in a plot form or table? I know that every engine will have it's own unique table and I don't intend to copy the table or base mine off of it. I more or less want to see the shape of a table with a better intake, cam, exhaust, etc. I'd also like to see if moddified tables are as smooth as the stock one. I searched, but you can't search for VE and there didn't seem to be alot of results for "table".

Thanks,
David

Here is an L98 with larger cam, intake, headers (and you're correct, you can't just copy from one engine to another - your VE needs to match your particular installation):

Thanks I appreciate the posts. What do you do to get the table that smooth? I'm trying to get a smooth curve like that but both of you are far ahea of me.

Click and drag ON THE GRAPH. The graph can be manipulated directly by clicking and dragging points on the graph.

Oh..I think that came out wrong. But I guess it still answers my question. So you get all your data points in and then manually smooth it. It didn't know if you were using and special software or weather TC had a smoothing function in it. I'm still tunning with GMECM so no dragging for me

I'm still using GMECMEdit v2.10 and it has click and drag VE's (although 2D). Cool, and will be even cooler when it's 3D

I've used two methods to smooth the VE tables. One is to read (import) the VE table into Excel and create a surface graph from it. Locate the high/low points and make a change to the data. As the data is changed it will show up in the graph to visualize.

The other method is to use a graphics tool and to use the smooth function. Read in the VE table as a gray scale image (IIRC) and have at it.

RBob.
