Moates adapter jumpers?!?!?!?!
I've been trying to figure out why none of my chips are making the car run... I finally found a little bit of information about "jumpers" on the Moates adapter. Are there supposed to be shorting pins on some of those "extra" pins of the adapter depending on which chip you have? I've never heard anything about it until now. Even while searching this forum I could only find information that says "make sure the jumpers are in the right position.", but nothing that says which position is "right" for which chip. Searched Moates' site as well and came up empty...

What adapter are you using? There should be only a couple of options...

Do you have more than one adapter available?
It's got a 28 pin receptacle on it, then the little jumper pins on the side... Heck, I'll go see if I can find your part number off of your site...

Oh dear...
The pins on the side of the adapter are not for jumpers. That is where your old Memcal goes. Take a look at some of the pics on the site and you should see what I mean...

So... I can't find this info now... Which end of the memcal goes to which side of the adapter? The pictures are dimly lit, plus it's showing a slightly different set up than I have... Are the memcal pins numbered? I'm in work right now and can't see it, but I'd like to know before I go try it again over lunch.
EDIT Nevermind... I think I've got it now... More more more moron!:lala:

Thanks for the help everyone! I just got back from lunch and can say that everything works as planned now. I'm already on revision 3 and am planning some dyno time in my head for after whenever I get a "street tune" where I want it. W00T!
