Memcal part number

Hopefully someone can help me.

I need to know the part number for the memcal in a 1990 Trans Am or Camaro that has a 305 TPI and 700r4 tranny. If someone knows this or can lead me to a website I would appreciate it.

I have one now but would like to buy a couple more for spares. The one I have now has the code AXYD on it.

I have put this in a 1956 Chevy truck and I am currently working on the tune.

Thanks for the help!

Jeff

I should have did a search on this before posting. My bad. I think I found what I needed.

The part number is 16163075.

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed for a 305 tpi with 700r4?

gmpartsdirect.com doesn't say exactly what it is for other than it is an "EPROM ASM".

Thanks!
Jeff

Part # 16163075 is broadcast code AXXF.

For BCC AXYD, the part# is 16163139

Also, you can use AXXB, part# 16163062.

All of those are valid 305 auto Memcals. They are all the most up todate versions and supersede all previous used Memcals for a 305 Auto F-body

I don't which of the three BCCs is the best. I suspect they are identical with the only difference being the model year they are released for. AXXF was for 1992

Thanks for the information! Looks like it's off to gmpartsdirect for me!

Does anyone have a better source for parts other than gmpartsdirect. My local dealer wants almost twice what they do! Plus, they couldn't even help me with the part numbers.

Thanks Again!
